Forestry Education Department
The Natural Resources Department of Lorestan University began its work in 1998 by accepting students in the undergraduate degree program in forestry in the Plant Production Department (sub-department), and since 1999, the Natural Resources Department has been active as an independent department in the Faculty of Agriculture. Since 1991, with the separation of the Rangeland and Watershed Management Department from this department, the Natural Resources Department has continued its activities as the Forestry Department.
The department's postgraduate education programs began in 1998 with the acceptance of students in the Master's degree program in forestry, and in 1992, it succeeded in accepting the first doctoral students in the Forestry Department. Since 1993, with the increase in the faculty of the department, the acceptance of students in the Master's and Doctoral degrees in Forestry has also begun.
Currently, this department has four specialized faculty in the Forestry Department and four specialized faculty in the Forestry and Forest Ecology Department.
